I bought the $20 Battle.net gift card (with my Amazon.com gift card money) so I could buy Overwatch when it went on sale for $30. My plan was to spend $20 of the gift card and another $10 from my credit card to buy Overwatch. However, the Battle.net website did not allow me to pay with two different payment sources in the same purchase. As a result, I had to buy another $20 Battle.net gift card so that I could buy Overwatch for $30 with the two gift cards. Now, I basically spent $40 on Battle.net gift cards to buy a $30 game, and I have about $10 of Battle.net gift card balance that I have no intent to ever spend. Definitely an annoying experience.
You can't buy this card and then use it with a credit card on battlenet. I bought this on amazon so I can get 5% off with my credit card and planned to use my credit card as the extra $10 i needed for the game. Turns out you cant split payment but how was I supposed to know it's 2018 and every other website does. So to deal with that I purchased $10 battlenet credit not as a code and I have to wait 3 days for it to go through... its 2018, blizzard, get it together. My payments should be instant and now I have to wait up to 3 days to play a game that's already paid for. Just go buy 3 $20 cards if you need $60 because other common methods are somehow not possible with an incompetent company like blizzard.
they only sell you in increments of 20 (max 2) or of 50, so you can buy$20$40$50$70etc... incremements, but you can't buy $60 to you know, get a video game that costs $59.99 (like all of them)so your options are:A) over pay by $10 to get a game now ($50 + 20)B) buy a $50 gift card and then go to battle.net and 'load balance' or whatever another $10 by credit card, which takes 3 ***ing days. It's literally indirectly making you overpay by 10 dollars if you want the game now. WTF?!?!?!
